Brie is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association, meaning her clinical practice adheres to a professional code of conduct and strict ethical guidelines.
As a clinical psychologist Brie has obtained post-graduate university qualifications in Clinical Psychology, this requires 8 years of university and practical training. Brie is also currently completing a Doctoral degree, researching help-seeking and the factors that are involved in why people may or may not seek help for self-harm and psychological difficulties.
Brie has experience in the delivery of both individual and group psychological interventions using a range of therapeutic approaches, with couples, adults and young people.
Brie has a special interest in working with clients who have enduring psychological difficulties, in particular Borderline Personality Disorder and those with complex trauma histories. Brie has training and experience in the delivery of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Schema Therapy.
