Dr. Brie Turner

Clinical Psychologist & Psychotherapist

BA Psyc, PGDip psyc, Mpsyc(Clinical) (Distinction),
Dpsyc(Clinical), MIARRP, MAPS.

Brie is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and a member of the International Association for Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy, meaning her clinical practice adheres to an endorsed professional code of conduct and sound ethical guidelines. 
 
As a clinical psychologist Brie has obtained post-graduate university qualifications in Clinical Psychology, this requires 8 years of university and practical training. Brie has also completed a Doctoral degree in clinical psychology, researching help-seeking and the factors that are involved in why people may or may not seek help for deliberate self-injury and psychological difficulties.
 
Brie has over 13 years of experience in the delivery of both individual and group psychological interventions using a range of therapeutic approaches.  
 
Brie has a special interest in working with adults who have enduring psychological issues, in particular those with complex trauma histories and attachment difficulties. Brie has specialised training and experience in the delivery of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
